Manuel Lateulade (Sincerely, Manolo) works across painting, sound, and sculpture. His practice is shaped by the friction of the human mind, the gap between vision and arrival.

At the center of his work is Currents, a motif that gives form to internal dialogue. Medium blue painter’s tape is applied directly to canvas and object, marking moments of hesitation, restraint, and return. The tape is never removed or resolved. It remains on the surface as a record of process.

Through repetition and accumulation, the work preserves what is often concealed. Self-doubt, restraint, and internal hurdles are made visible rather than hidden.

Each piece functions as both record and declaration. Progress is not defined by resolution, but by the act of continuing, marked and present.
